Das letzte Mal, als sie fotografierte, musste man sich zwischen einem Film mit 24 oder 36 Bildern entscheiden.
In den Jahrzehnten danach sah sie beeindruckende Länder und Gesellschaften und traf interessante Menschen. Doch wollte sie keine Distanz mit einem Fotoapparat schaffen, ihre Eindrücke im Gedächtnis bewahren. Sie machte Bilder im Kopf.
Im April 2015 kaufte sie sich eine billige, kleine Nikon.
Sie nahm ein Püppchen mit auf Reisen um es abzulichten. Dann fand sie ein Playmobilmännchen im Wald und nutze es als Model.
Seither sieht man sie in Ecken und Winkeln, auf Straßen und Plätzen, in Wald und Flur mit einem Männchen oder Püppchen, das sie zu den Dingen und Situationen stellt, die sie vorfindet. Dann verrenkt sie sich, um den rechten Winkel für ein seltsames Foto zu treffen. Sie schießt ein paar Bilder, ohne die meisten Funktionen ihrer Kamera zu kennen, überlässt fast alles dem Zufall.
Dann ist sie gespannt, ob ihr ein Bild gefällt.

The last time she took photographs, one had to decide between films with 24 and 36 pictures.
In the decades since, she visited impressive countries and communities and met interesting people, but she did not want to create distances with a camera and rather keep the pictures in mind. She created pictures in her head.
In April 2015 she bought a cheap little Nikon. She took a tiny doll on a trip to take photographs.Then she found a little Playmobil in the forest and used it as a model.
Since then you can see her in corners, in streets and places, in fields and forests, with the Playmobil or a tiny doll that she places to things and situations she finds. She twists and bends to find the right angle to shoot a weird photo. She takes a few pictures of each scene, without even knowing most of the functions of her camera, just taking a chance.
Then she is anxious, if she will like one of the pictures. Then she is anxious, if others like it.
